Hey everybody!

I have some exciting news to share! I was finally able to get our mod marketplace setup along with a media application that will act as a gallery for our community 😃

Mod Marketplace

The first release of our mod marketplace includes decent core features, but we have many plans ahead for additional features! With that said, as of right now only open-source and free mods are supported. However, paid mods will be supported in the future for games we have written and legal approval for.

With that said, unfortunately, I wasn't able to successfully modify certain URLs for viewing mods because of a bug with IPS 4. Therefore, links to view mods will be /files/view/... instead of /mods/view/... for example. In the future, we will change over to /mods/view/... and redirect old links when the time comes. We're eventually going to end up making a completely custom website and application due to the amount of limitations we've been facing with IPS 4.

Warning - All free mods submitted must contain source code. If no source code is found, we will temporarily hide the mod and contact the author asking them to upload source code.

Current Supported Games

  • Minecraft
  • Grand Theft Auto V, FiveM, and IV
  • Skyrim
  • The Sims 3 and 4
  • Halo Reach, 4, 3, 2, and Combat Evolved
  • Rust
  • Garry's Mod
  • Counter-Strike 1.6, Source, and Global Offensive
  • Team Fortress 2
  • Left 4 Dead 1 and 2
  • Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

We will be supporting additional games as time goes on and if you'd like to see a game supported, please reply to this thread!

Planned Features Ahead

Unique features we plan to implement in the future include the following!

  • Allowing integration between Git services such as GitHub and GitLab where a mod creator will be able to choose a repository as their mod's source along with choosing which files that will be available for download.
  • Automation via CD/CI tools resulting in source code being compiled and the compiled files will be available for download.
  • One-click mod installs via NextGen Modding's Pivot tool once NextGen Modding's tools are completed.
  • Virus scans for safety.

Gallery

I was also able to setup a neat gallery for the community where users will be able to submit images and videos along with albums. We will be setting up more categories in the future!

Feedback Is Welcome!

If you have any feedback on the above, we encourage you to make threads and posts in this forum!

I hope you all enjoy 🙂
